The refrigerator is not frost free and will require manual defrosting at times to ensure its performance is at its best. We tested the refrigerator for energy efficiency, and it scored an A+ rating. This is the lowest efficiency we have ever tested, and it is a decent result for a refrigerator of this price. It was also fairly quiet, with a noise score of 42dB. It's still a bit more raucous than the cheaper models, but it's far quieter than the earlier refrigerators we've tested that tended to make a lot of noise while running.

The stability of temperature was also excellent for a refrigerator of this type. The average temperature of the upper shelf, middle and lower shelves was within a few degrees of the maximum. The temperature in the salad drawer varied between 5oC to just under freezing.
The fridge also requires manual defrosting from time time, but it's graded as A+ in energy efficiency. This makes it one of the most efficient fridge freezers on our Best Buy chart, keeping your electricity bills down.
This is a good example of how the Swan brand can provide attractive retro-inspired designs at very affordable prices. The SR11010 looks fantastic and is available in a wide spectrum of colours, from the pastel blue we tested to more striking red and orange. It's frost-free, and is also quiet.
